The best place to buy cheap international plane tickets is online. We’ve tried travel agencies and they can’t compete with the discount ticket websites.

I just did a quick search for the cheapest airfare from Tucson, Arizona, to Buenos Aires, Argentina, using the five sites mentioned. They ranged from $1221 down to $873, and there were fares as high as $3728. Hotwire happened to have the cheapest, but they were the worst of the five when I searched for a domestic flight earlier. You cannot say which service will find the cheapest international plane tickets from week to week. My number one money-saving tip is to always check several websites when shopping for inexpensive flights.

My Accidental $1000 Discovery

Before going to Ecuador, I searched several websites that deal in cheap international plane tickets. The cheapest airfare from Traverse City, Michigan to Quito, was $1720. Out of curiosity, I checked Miami to Quito, and it was only $400. Airfare from Traverse City to Miami was $300. Book two separate flights and save more than $1000! Marketers often use household income of $75,000 as an affluence threshold but there was no apparent increase in word of mouth or (WOM) activity for people with incomes from $75,000 to $90,000. The results showed acceleration in WOM likelihood for households earning $100,000 or more. As expected, technology has a significant influence on how different generations foster WOM. Here’s a glimpse into the future, as well as today. Younger generations are creating personal online media to a greater extent, with nearly half (49%) of Gen Y having built a website and one quarter having their own blog. When reaching out to their peers, one-quarter visit chat rooms or message boards daily and 17% of their contact activity is done through instant or text messaging. 1977 Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew

Seattle Slew, horse racing’s lone remaining living Triple Crown winner, passed away on May 7, 2002 at the age of 28. Already ranked among the all time greats by virtue of this accomplishment alone, Slew is even more notable as the only Triple Crown winner to go undefeated as a three year hold. He came from humble beginnings, bought at public auction–the only Triple Crown winner to be acquired in this manner. After retiring to stud in 1978 he remained a very profitable horse based on a stud fee of $300,000.
